Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity founded in 1927 and we are one of over 260 volunteer run branches and 29 adoption centres, covering England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
We try to ensure that every cat is given the chance of a life where it will be treated with kindness and understanding. And we never put a cat, kitten, elderly or ill cat to sleep except on clear veterinary advice.

Can you give Lyric (and Tequila) a home?Lyric is 12 years old and is the mother of 10 year old tortoiseshell Tequila. The girls like to groom each other. They also like being stroked and will reward you with a ready purr. It is particularly hard for older cats to lose their home. What they appreciate most at this stage of their life is a secure and stable environment with plenty of TLC. These two sweet girls are waiting patiently for that special person to come along and take them home. An older cat is great company, and two even more so!
