Southampton Branch

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity founded in 1927 and we are one of over 260 volunteer run branches and 29 adoption centres, covering England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We try to ensure that every cat is given the chance of a life where it will be treated with kindness and understanding. And we never put a cat, kitten, elderly or ill cat to sleep except on clear veterinary advice.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with fundraising. Please contact us if you would like to help.

We will have a number of friendly and affectionate kittens of various ages and colours that will be looking for new homes over the coming weeks.

Special Appeal: Stables, farms or similar

We have rescued a number of kittens who have been living rough with their mother. Some of these kittens are not suitable for homing in a domestic situation, so we are looking for a farm, small holding, stable or some similar rural location where they can live out their lives, fed and monitored, perhaps earning their keep with vermin control. If you have, or know someone who has, a suitable location for these kittens, please get in touch.

Can you give Leona a home?

Leona is a very friendly girl with beautiful golden eyes and a ready purr. She really enjoys being brushed. Leona is approximately 12 years old and likes nothing more than to snuggle up in a cosy place or on a lap.
